For the jointly organised event by CLCCL, the Confucius Institutes in Trier and Liège and the University of Bremen, the director of the IASA Niklas Donath gave an inspiring talk about the Chinese kuaiban at the Lycée de Garçons de Luxembourg. Mr Donath, who studied Chinese at the Tsinghua University in Beijing, is a fourth generation descendent of the Chinese Kuaiban master Li Runjie and honorary member of the Chinese Ballad Singers Association. He introduced the art of Chinese story telling and singing to the Luxembourgish, German and Belgian students, fascinated them with a superb performance and let them try it out too for a hands-on experience.
